Dinner at home of Professor Glenn Spanish
First of all we introduce our friend Glenn. He is a professor at Tenri University that began in the English language department (he is from Costa Rica) and what are at present engaged in research in the field of cinematography. For us it was very interesting to know because it has helped us better understand the philosophy and make the Japanese people. Glenn, thousands of thank you and know you have some friends to what you need in Spain.
He told us that Tenri University celebrated the open day on Monday. Every year on this day, the university opens its doors to students graduating from high school to know the possible courses that are offered and may have more information to decide what career they want to study. Glenn asked us the presentation without relying English and there were. They were talking a bit about Spain: culture, language, holidays, etc. .. At the end of a question at the times we could not do the presentation, but even so, the university invited us to eat. We ate all three with Glenn and Victor. After college
Glenn invited us to his house for dinner. We cook a typical English dinner. Paul made two delicious potato tortillas. Giganto delicious rice with chicken (the truth is that it was a bit risky to do nothing less than rice in Japan), Yannick scored some amazing crepes and I prawns with garlic. They also helped brought about sausages directly from Galicia (mom, pork was what was just before) combined with receptacles of Gi bread in memory of colleagues from Barcelona the year in Switzerland. Come on, a cenon. Ahh!, And wine. Oporto, Campillo 96, French rose wine and champagne .. all great. Here you have some pictures of the dinner preparation and the final result.
Glenn's family was lovely. Kyek his wife, his children (Aki always with the camera taking pictures), grandparents and Víctor course.
For dessert, watermelon and a mega Kiek father offered us a delicious sake. Thank you very much for everything ..
Gi PD: Mom, as I do not go out the photos then ;-) In the next few posts will try out a bit different.

Rendering Vs Xeon Rendering
Kyoto and Osaka
going out of the Japan Railways station in Osaka noticed a lot of humidity and smell of the sea. Suddenly neon and people, many people ...
was our first contact with the city. In Japan there is a chain of language schools, Nova , which employs a number of Westerners. Including españolitos we met over dinner and later copeteo through the streets of Osaka. We also met some Italian and a German couple. All workers of Nova.
Well, as you all know, the world is a handkerchief (especially with the issue of being out there Galician below). The guy on the right is a ourensano ...¡¡!. Yeah, yeah, had a month in Osaka, saying he had no fucking idea of Japanese (which we understand to perfection). Nova also incurs. To be more precise to say that it is in the area of Vista Hermosa, hehe ... Three
ourensanos in Osaka and a Frenchman scoring Blue Steel look.
After dinner we went to a cocktail bar ... they do not know what cocktail ask?
... Zoolander ...
already returning to the train station to sleep in Tenri, Japan ran into .. alas ..
We ran into a zone of Love Hotels (rooms are rented by the hour and you can imagine what it ..). Do not support same-sex couples have to play stations in the rooms. We saw
subcultures: goths, rockers (something very popular around here), punks, etc ...
we also would buy what is the origin of the ninja turtles. The river that runs through Osaka exceeds 5000 times the amount of pollution considered permitted for swimming. We believe that within everything was dead, but flipped when we saw a couple of rootworms swimming as if nothing ...
The other side of Japan. We were very surprised when a Japanese chupurreando a "gu monin, I'm hangary asked us a few yen to eat ..
Something curious is the subject of the nazi symbols. Before the Nazis adopted this symbolism, the Buddhists used it as a symbol good luck. In fact, it is frequently seen in their temples. As you can see in the picture is not like the Nazis, is reversed.
Target, Locked Geishas, when Yannick yelled "at ellashhh pog!" Station ran down to get a photo. Then we heard they were going to Kyoto because that Sunday was a traditional festival with fireworks (the Japanese love, surely if you were at fault fliparían).
Posters on the Japan Railways station.
There .. the yukata and kimonos ...

Ankylosing Spondylitis Dry Throat
bottle in Tenri (written by Paul)
"Kyoto?" "Ummm, no, no, no Kintetsu" response that is dependent on the company JR Giganto the question to go to Kyoto. What I was saying is cogiesemos not train your company but one of the competition because it was cheaper and faster. Another thing in Spain, say that is not quite frequent ...
To stay awake on the job they do in japanese the train. We, too, but for other reasons quite different.
For lovers of architecture (Tere and Luis among others), the Kyoto train station is amazing. Westerners began to see lost looking at the posters of the rail lines. We are not passing it because we had Gigantusman on our part.
Taxis are booliwood film, with headboards point in the seats.
As usual with Luis we took many photos of the Golden Temple. Probrecillo have to be in this building until the priquinglins ...
The photo is not in Spain but .... we will never see three people cleaning a lawn as small as one that was on this site. Giganto
As always likes to post with little animals here you have these wonderful goldfish, "Pooo zi."
Before Alex try their luck with a "fortune cookies" without cookies, sat in a chair-shaped stone. By the way you played "good luck."
the way to the silver temple we found a Japanese mother with a pair of Pocholo. I took a photo because it seemed very nice ... She wondered who would like to take a picture and when we told the kids were very Majete he replied in English! And he knew a little English! Kyoto is different ...
As we went to a super thirsty. Melons at 5000 yen, carallo!. Would a thin layer of gold?
looks like a bus "tuned" by Team A (of course only with a torch and a steel plate ...).
When we finally arrived at the temple of silver, humidity and heat were excessive. A part of the Temple was under construction but parks and waterfalls could be seen perfectly.
We bumped into medical school of Kyoto. His English style is mixed with the Japanese story.
The story of the day was when we entered the Imperial Palace. As I was a little late was closed, but you could walk through the gardens. The fact is that Alexander in an attempt to get a better view of the palace, he tried to take a picture. Sensors had seen that I said I was to measure the water in winter, but nooo! Motion sensors. Gates of the compound that seems to be close, alarm throughout the site. Miles and miles of iiiiiuuuuu, iiiiiiuuu ... A voice of an aunt who still seemed to say there are going to desmembraros with katanas. Come on, move black. Españolitos us as we became poor Swedes in Japan and we like that there was piramos happened. Here you have the sensors.
More critters this time on all fours ...
And before we go, because we took pictures in the famous Kyoto Tower.
Once home we had an hour to organize fiestecilla. Cleaned up and leave space for eight people: Kana and Mari, Alexey and Ania, Yannick, Giganto, Alejandro and myself. The party was disappointed and even French crepes Yannick ... very rich. Gone soon:)
When we left home returned to the operations center, karaoke, but this time not as a pub but in a small room all packed. The karaoke was more sophisticated and had a lot of songs. More failed attempts to find the desired song in my awesome tomes he had to choose. Peak moment was when pozi came to Japan. No more ...
An hour later we moved to the last bar, the "H2", where a Japanese too drunk said, "I hate the foreigners." Managers kindly invited him, immobilizing the neck, to leave and the truth is that nothing happened. Pyrogen was silent.
We finished the night with little training worked like "power ranger". A fiasco. In the first you can see Alexander trying to flee with the bike ... But he had no time.
And finally, pick up everything.
